Throughout his career, he has worked with several start-up companies from Michigan to California, embracing many changes and thinking outside the box. These qualities make him an exceptional builder, adept at handling the shifts and changes that often occur in construction projects.

Alongside his professional career, Matt has always been a passionate craftsman. After moving to Lake Leelanau and overseeing the construction of his own barndominium as the general contractor, he recognized a significant gap in quality craftsmanship and reliable workers who truly care about their clients.

Inspired by this experience, Matt decided to combine his engineering expertise and project management skills with his love for building and construction, founding Roots and Revive Builders. He is dedicated to delivering superior quality and clear communication, priding himself on these values which he found lacking during his own home build.
